Deer Creek Recreation Club is a private, members-only 501(c) nonprofit recreation club located at 22823 E 143rd St, Plainfield, IL — approximately 35 miles southwest of Chicago. The club sits on over 100 acres of private land in Will County, Illinois, including two fully stocked fishing lakes totaling 33 acres of water, 40+ acres of managed woodland, a private sandy beach, a clubhouse, two pavilions, and Lilly Cache Creek winding through the property.
Members enjoy year-round fishing for bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, perch, and trout — plus camping at 85 sites with hookups, waterfowl and deer hunting, trap shooting, 3D archery, and a full calendar of social events.

The club hosts three major seasonal celebrations — Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day — each featuring live music, great food, and the kind of atmosphere that keeps families coming back year after year.
Throughout the season, members organize their own fish fries, BBQ gatherings, and social get-togethers — including a festive Halloween party to close out the year.
Our beach pavilion plays host to live bands throughout the summer — the backdrop of Deer Creek Lake makes for an evening you won't forget.
Deer Creek is a private, members-only club. All tours are by appointment only. A criminal background check is required for all adults. Final acceptance is subject to Board approval.
We welcome singles, families, and senior citizens — from first-time visitors to third-generation members.
