People choose Deer Creek for a variety of reasons — some for the fishing, some for the camping, some for the hunting, and many for the friendships that come with it.
We have singles, young families, second and third-generation club members, and senior citizens. Tours are by appointment only — contact our Membership Director to arrange a visit.

Complete a membership application including authorization for a criminal background check for all adults in your household.
Final acceptance is subject to Board approval. Once cleared, gate access cards are mailed to you and your membership is active.

Deer Creek Recreation Club offers three membership tiers. Yearly Membership is $920 per year with a $50 initiation fee in the first year only. Full Membership is $800 per year with a $1,050 initiation fee in the first year only. Annual Beach Membership is $125 per year and provides access to the private sandy beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Membership at Deer Creek Recreation Club is by invitation. Interested families should contact the club at (815) 267-0105 or through the contact form to request a tour. All visits are by appointment only. A Director will follow up to schedule your tour and walk you through the application process.
Deer Creek Recreation Club is a private, members-only club. It is not open to the general public. The club is a 501(c) nonprofit organization governed by an elected Board of Directors.
Full and Yearly memberships include access to fishing on two private stocked lakes, 85 campsites, the private sandy beach, the clubhouse, two pavilions, deer and waterfowl hunting (Full Membership), trap shooting, 3D archery, and participation in club social events. Beach Membership includes beach and swimming access, playground use, and pavilion access.
Yes. Deer Creek Recreation Club is a family-oriented club and welcomes member families. Children enjoy fishing, the private sandy beach, camping, and seasonal social events alongside adult members.
